A whaling town before that many of the original captain homes survive today in the village.

Marion is also centrally located between Boston, Providence RI and Cape Cod and The Islands. New Bedford, MA is just 10 miles away. From New Bedford ferries are available to Martha’s Vineyard and Cuttyhunk Islands.
Just 60 miles south of Boston this property is centrally located for easy day trips to Cape Cod, the Elizabeth Islands, Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. In the summer the bay is full of sailboats from surrounding towns and yacht clubs; in the winter, seals can often be seen sunning on the rocks off the houses.
